Vivo is all set to launch its X70 series of phones in India on September 30, with a microsite on the company's website already up to reveal this information. Courtesy of the microsite, Vivo has also revealed that the X70 series phones will come with Zeiss optics and also feature an updated version of the gimbal camera technology that has been quite successful on previous generation X series phones.
And now, ahead of the launch, we've received more information about the company's partnership with the Zeiss for the X70 series. As per our sources close to the company, the new Vivo X70 series phones will be equipped with Zeiss enabled features like Zeiss Style Portrait, Zeiss T*Coating, and much more.
As per the information accessed by Digit, all rear camera lenses on the X70 series phones will have certified compliance to Zeiss T* Coating, which will enable them to "reproduce crystal clear and true colors in everything you shoot." Further, the phones will come with Zeiss' unique expertise in mobile imaging and optical design, which in turn integrated with the system could help the X70 series deliver an impressive mobile photography experience.
Vivo X70 Pro+: Expected specificationsThe X70 series phones have already been launched in China, and are expected to come to India with minor changes. Of the phones, it is the X70 Pro+ that will be the flagship, and as such, will feature the most impressive hardware.
Vivo X70 Pro+ is expected to feature a 6.78-inch quad-HD+ E5 AMOLED display capable of running a fast 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Vivo handset is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC. For cameras, the Vivo X70 Pro+ could feature a quad rear camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a secondary 50-megapixel primary sensor, a third 12-megapixel portrait sensor, and a fourth 8-megapixel telephoto sensor completing the list. The Vivo X70 Pro+ could also get a 32-megapixel sensor at the front for clicking selfies.
Keeping the lights on the device will be a 4,500mAh battery pack with support for 55W Flash Charge fast charging and 50W Wireless Flash Charge fast charging support. The phone will also feature an upmarket design to help challenge other smartphones in the premium segment.
